   About

Juliana is a full-time artist. She is known for her vibrant large scale acrylic paintings and her intricate drawings in ink, pastel and charcoal on paper. She works in these mix-mediums, predominantly from life capturing light and shadow on outdoor subject matters.

Born in 1992, Juliana grew up between North Eastern France and the UK surrounded by art and artists. Her mother a sculptor, her uncle and aunts, painters, and her grandfather a historian, all helped inspire and nurture her talent.

Juliana has a broad and compelling oeuvre. Her specialist subject matter is heritage including architecture, classic cars and boats. Her passion is to convey the beauty of heritage and craftsmanship through her modern and fresh approach to painting large scale restoration projects. Furthermore, she has produced interactive art-works to raise awareness around prevalent political issues on North Korea and Syria.

Juliana has gone from being the youngest artist exhibiting at Somerset House, East Wing Biennial in 2013, to artist in residence on The Classic Yacht Experience in 2017-18, filmed by Delissa Needham, BBC producer, for a series of films for The Classic Yacht Experience.

Juliana takes on commercial and private commissions in all mediums shown on her website.
